Malagousia by Avantis Estate is a white wine with intense aromatic character, freshness and a clear Greek identity. It comes from Evia and shows Malagousia in a fresher, refined and expressive version, without becoming heavy or overly aromatic.
Vinification takes place with cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation at 16°C, in order to preserve the freshness and clean aromas of the variety. In the glass, it has a soft lemon-green colour and brings grapefruit, lime, white peach, pear, lemon blossom and a subtle mineral feel.
On the palate, it is fruity, lively and balanced, with pronounced acidity, white fruit, citrus, rose and a clean finish with notes of stone and steel. It is a Malagousia that drinks easily, but has enough energy to avoid becoming flat.
It pairs very well with seafood, fish, green salads, chicken, pasta with light sauces, fresh cheeses and dishes with lemony or floral intensity. A white wine for anyone looking for aromatics, but with freshness and clarity in the glass.
